Restriction of rail traffic

We want to inform you about the current situation and effects.

 

Important updates

  • We are pleased to inform you that we have succeded in establishing an alternative train route on the Enns – Vienna v.v. section.
  • The routing will take place via Phyrn/Schober/Semmering, with a limited train length (580 meters) and weight (1.360 tons).
  • The temporary additional costs amount to EUR 155,–/TEU due to the use of an additional locomotive and personnel as well as longer travel times and increased power consumption.
  • For import containers that are currently in Enns for Vienna, 2 more handlings will be charged.
  • The surcharge for export and import containers from/to Vienna will come into force on 30.09.2024 (dispatch date), we will inform you promptly about further developments and duration of this temporary surcharge.

Delivery times or fixed dates cannot be guaranteed; these require unhindered transport by rail or road traffic.
